About Coaching
Who is it for? Executive coaching is a valuable development opportunity for senior leaders, and managers. Today’s work environments are shaped by rapid change, and leaders are expected to adapt quickly and develop new ways of working. Coaching can enhance adaptability, self-awareness, confidence, and the ability to manage yourself and your teams through change and uncertainty.
If you are a leader in children’s services, education, or special educational needs, Debbie’s unique combination of training and experience makes her a particularly strong choice of coach.
How does it work? Coaching offers a rare, confidential, and non-judgemental space to reflect on what matters to you, explore possibilities, and consider how to move forward. Coaching conversations are collaborative but very different from discussions with colleagues, friends, or family. Working with an impartial coach can be highly rewarding, offering rich insights, deeper learning, and renewed clarity and energy. The focus of coaching is set by you and what you want to achieve - and may evolve over time.
Debbie works alongside you to clarify goals, understand barriers that may be holding you back, consider options for change, and develop a plan of action. Sessions may explore all or some of the following core areas that strengthen capability and build long-term effectiveness:
-
Pause and Prioritise
Create space to think and focus on what truly matters
-
Clarify Direction
Align values, set meaningful goals, and sharpen strategic focus
-
Build Confidence
Strengthen decision-making, self-belief, and grounded leadership presence
-
Navigate Complexity
Communicate clearly, handle difficult decisions, and balance competing demands
-
Work Sustainably
Develop resilience, set boundaries, and support long-term wellbeing
How does it take place? An initial discussion will answer any questions you may have and clarify expectations, including confidentiality. It also provides an opportunity to explore the areas you may want to focus on and ensure Debbie is the right coach for you.
Coaching sessions can take place face-to-face, by phone, or via a virtual platform and are usually 60 minutes. They often take place every 3–4 weeks over a period of 6–12 months, although there is no fixed pattern — you decide what works best for you. The location, timing, and frequency of sessions are flexible and can be tailored to your personal and organisational needs.
Fees: Initial discussion: Free. Online sessions: £175. 3 sessions booked in advance: £500. Fees for face-to-face sessions subject to discussion.
